The systems take ultimate control of the various elements within a house such as: Home Cinema, Lighting, Climate, Multi-room Audio & Video, Security, Surveillance and Messaging.
HomeLogic
The system is based around a purpose built home controller and digital music server called the HomeBrick.
The HomeBrick and Network Assembly fit together within a flush or surface mount System Enclosure which would typically be installed along side the lighting, security and climate controls in a 'control room'.
You can use in-wall touch-screens, wireless tablets, PDAs, computers or even a mobile phone to control your home environment either locally or remotely.
ConvergeX Living Room
The Living Room is designed to be used with the Microsoft XP Media Centre operating system.
It provides full remote control access to Lighting, Climate, Security, Surveillance and Curtain/Shutter systems in your house.
Client software is available for Tablets, In-wall PCs and PDAs/SmartPhones allowing you to have complete control over your home from anywhere in the world.
ConvergeX believe that UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) is one of the key standards that will enable convergence and integration of devices within digital homes. This standard is being adopted by many companies & thus enables many partner products to interface seamlessly into the Living Room platform.
Whilst ConvergeX supports UPnP, they also develop, where necessary, interfaces to other partner products to create essential functionality. 'Bridges' have been developed for Zensys (ZWAVE), EIB and X10 electrical home network protocols and for many home network gateway devices.
